The Krishibid Foundation for Humanity has celebrated the joy of Eid-ul-Azha with 700 poor people by providing them with food on the day of Eid-ul-Azha, said a press release.

The foundation distributed more than 500 biryani packets among poor people at Gandaria railway station, Jurain, Golapshah Mazar, the Supreme Court, Dhaka University, Azimpur, Shahid Minar, Changhar Pool, the Matsya Bhaban and other places.

The organisation distributed 160 packets of biryani among the patients undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College pediatric surgery department.

Foundation chairman Muhammad Monirul Islam said that the organisation had started its journey earlier this year with Bangladesh Agricultural University’s 125 alumni from the 1996–97 sessions.
