Krisibid Foundation for Humanity is a non-profit and non-political private organization. We were established on October 17, 2020, to take part in the humanitarian program to fulfill the duty as a human being. We the friends of the 1996-97’ session of Bangladesh Agricultural University have established the foundation to make the available right of entry to the neglected people who need to improve their livelihood, to help themselves and each other. The foundation is willing to launch such kinds of programs that may benefit the entire community through offering assistance to the poor people’s health problems, supplementation of the food program, affordable housing, transportation, and other need-based crisis management program.

We want to create access of the vulnerable to the world of better health, nutrition, education, and housing. Such kind of offered facilities will help to empower the individuals and bring a positive difference in the lives and society.
For the welfare of the society and country through offering the service and better health facilities to the poor, bringing the helpless and underprivileged peoples to the shed of benevolent program, Fisheries Department personnel Muhammad Monirul Islam (Milon), a former student of the 1996-’97 session of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) was proposed to establish a humanitarian organization via an online platform on October 4, 2020. The students of the 1996-’97 session of BAU were responded spontaneously and vigorously to establish such kind of organization despite their involvement with other social welfare activities.
The primary goal of the proposal was to bring all the friends of the 1996-’97 session of BAU into a common platform so that, all the friends together can facilitate a great contribution to the humanitarian program. On October 16, 2020, the friends of the 1996-97 session organized an online meeting as the first step to establishing the organization and the date is considered as the foundation date of the organization. A convening committee comprising 10 members was formed by the leading of Muhammad Monirul Islam Milon as convenor and Dilruba Bedana (Ruba), Dr. Md. Ferdous Mehboob (Itu), Dr. Md. Imran Khan Chowdhury, Prof. Dr. Md. Mohidul Hasan, Md. Ashraf Uddin (Swapan), AKM Rafiqul Islam Chowdhury (Ripon), K, A, M, M, Raisul Islam, Muhammad Wahiduzzaman, Muhammad Shamsul Islam (Kiron) as member. The convening committee dissolved on December 12, 2020, by selecting the slogan, logo, and drafting the constitution of the organization. The organization was named “Krishibid Foundation for Humanity (KFH)” and was approved at the general meeting held on December 19, 2020, with the slogan, logo, and constitution. After the formation of the first executive committee, “Krishibid Foundation for Humanity (KFH)” started its welfare activities on January 01, 2021.
According to the constitution of the Krishibid Foundation for Humanity (KHF), it has six types of members.
A) Founder Member;
B) Advisory Committee Member;
C) General Member;
D) Executive Committee Member;
E) Life Member;
F) Donor Member;
In addition, KFH also has a volunteer team.
One hundred and twenty-five (125) agriculturist of 1996-1997 session of Bangladesh Agricultural University are the founder member of KFH. An advisory committee comprised of at least 3 (three) members provides necessary advice for the smooth functioning of the Foundation. The executive committee of KFH nominates the advisors. Anyone above the age of 18 years can become the general member of the organization by paying a membership fee TK. 3000/-, a life member by a minimum donation of TK. 50,000/- (fifty thousand), a donor member for one year by paying TK. 5,000/- (five thousands). With the approval of executive committee, anyone can also join as a volunteer.
Formation of executive committee and their responsibility:
A 15-member executive committee is formed for 3 (three) years by the direct vote of the general members of KFH. At least one executive committee meeting is held in every 3 months. All activities of the Foundation to achieve the goal and objectives, the executive committee will take action in implementation of the decisions of the general meeting, approval and cancellation of all types of members and volunteers except the Executive Committee Members, formation of Standing Committees and Sub Committees, formation of Election Commission, Fund Raising, Budget Preparation, Arrangement of General Meeting , Preparing of income and expenditure statements, management of finances, adopts and implements development plans, and performs all routine activities of the Foundation.
Annually a general meeting is held, and multiple Extraordinary General Meetings are held on the basis of need. General members and life members are eligible to give any opinions and vote at the General Meeting/Extraordinary General Meeting. The general meeting approved the amendment of constitution, policy formulation, formation of executive committee, commercial audit firm, internal audit committee, annual plan, annual budget, audit report etc.

স্বচ্ছতা ও জবাবদিহিতা
কৃষিবিদ ফাউন্ডেশন ফর হিউমিনিটি এর প্রকল্প প্রণয়ন এবং বাস্তবায়নসহ প্রশাসনিক এবং অন্যান্য সকল কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করে কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটি। কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটি সাধারন পরিষদের নিকট কার্যক্রমের দায়বদ্ধতা ও জবাবদিহিতা নিশ্চিত করতে হয়।
সাধারন পরিষদের নিকট দায়বদ্ধতা
বছরে একটি বার্ষিক সাধারন সভা (AGM) এবং প্রয়োজনে এক বা একাধিক এক্সটার্ডিনারি সাধারন সভা (EGM) অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। উক্ত সভাসমূহে কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটিকে তাঁদের কাজের জবাবদিহিতা নিশ্চিত করতে হয়।
কেএফএইচ এর পলিসি অনুমোদন বা সংশোধন এবং গঠনতন্ত্র সংশোধনের একমাত্র কর্তৃপক্ষ সাধারন পরিষদ। উক্ত পলিসি বা গঠনতন্ত্র অনুসারে কার্যনির্বাহী পরিষদের কার্যক্রম পরিচালিত হয়।
কার্যনির্বাহী পরিষদের আর্থিক স্বচ্ছতা নিশ্চিত করার জন্য সাধারন পরিষদ কর্তৃক কমার্শিয়াল অডিট ফার্ম এবং অভ্যন্তরীণ নিরীক্ষা কমিটি গঠন করা হয়ে থাকে।
সাধারন পরিষদ ফাউন্ডেশনের বার্ষিক পরিকল্পনা, বাজেট ও নিরীক্ষা রিপোর্ট অনুমোদন করে থাকেন।
সাধারন পরিষদের সদস্যদের মতামতের ভিত্তিতে বা ভোটের মাধ্যমে কার্যনির্বাহী পরিষদ গঠন করা হয়।
আর্থিক স্বচ্ছতা নিশ্চিতকরণ
ব্যক্তির স্বভাবগত গুণাবলী (সততা, মানবতা, অন্যের নিকট গ্রহণযোগ্যতা) এর অতীত ইতিহাস এবং নানান বিষয় বিশ্লেষণ করে কেএফএইচ এর কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটি গঠন করা হয়েছে। কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটির প্রতিটি সদস্য উত্তম গুণসম্পন্ন। তথাপিও আর্থিক স্বচ্ছতা ও জবাবদিহিতা নিম্নরূপে নিশ্চিত করা হয়ঃ-
চেয়ারম্যান, সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল ও ফাইনেন্স সেক্রেটারী এর যৌথ স্বাক্ষরে ব্যাংক হিসাব পরিচালিত হয়। ফাইনেন্স সেক্রেটারীর স্বাক্ষর আবশ্যক সাথে চেয়ারম্যান অথবা সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল যে কোন একজনের স্বাক্ষর প্রয়োজন হয়।
ফাইনেন্স সেক্রেটারীর কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটির ত্রৈমাসিক সভায় আয়-ব্যয় এর হিসাব বিবরণী প্রদান করেন ও অনুমোদন গ্রহণ করেন।
সাধারন সভায় অনুমোদিত অভ্যন্তরীণ নিরীক্ষা কমিটি বছরে ২ বার আয় ও ব্যয় সংক্রান্ত অডিট করে থাকেন এবং অডিট রিপোর্ট প্রদান করেন।
ICAB এর তালিকাবদ্ধ চার্টার একাউন্টেন্ট ফার্ম কর্তৃক বছরে একবার আয় ও ব্যয় সংক্রান্ত অডিট করে থাকেন। উক্ত অডিট রিপোর্ট বার্ষিক সাধারন সভায় উপস্থাপন ও অনুমোদন গ্রহণ করা হয়।
বার্ষিক আয়-ব্যয় এর বিবরনী সকল সাধারন সদস্য, ডোনার সদস্য ও আজীবন সদস্যের মেইলে প্রেরণ করা হয়।

KFH offer a text only version of our site with options to change foreground and background colours. It provides a faster browsing experience for those using mobile devices or on slow connections. The site can be read whatever size and type of screen you use. The text only version is exactly the same site without the images and layout. It is not a separate site.
